ARNO x Rossmann: A partnership between two strong, family-run businesses

 

ARNO acts as a retail design and shopfitting partner for Rossmann, responsible for the planning and implementation of store concepts in several European countries, including Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Albania and Turkey. The scalable concept is applied across multiple product categories, such as decorative cosmetics, photo services, novelties, organic products, alcoholic beverages, stationery, hosiery and perfume.

Scalable concept

 

In this project, scalable refers to a store design system that can be adapted to different store sizes, layouts and national market requirements while maintaining a consistent look and functional structure.

 

Key characteristics of the scalable concept include:

  • Modular fixtures: Standardised shelving, gondolas and display modules that can be combined or adjusted depending on available floor space.
  • Adaptability to store size: The concept can be applied to small, medium and large store formats without changes to the core design logic.
  • Consistent material palette: Uniform materials and finishes ensure a recognisable appearance across all locations.
  • Standardised lighting concept: Repeatable lighting solutions support product presentation and orientation regardless of store size.
  • Flexible category zoning: Product categories can be arranged and scaled according to local assortment depth and customer flow.

 

This approach enables Rossmann stores to present a wide product range in a structured and functional environment while ensuring efficient roll-out and consistency across multiple markets.
